A half day course for endorsed riders who want to become more comfortable riding their own motorcycles. This class provides an opportunity to improve basic street riding techniques and crash avoidance maneuvers. Perfect for recent BRC graduates and great as a spring refresher to sharpen skills or to get more comfortable with that new or new-to-you bike. This course may be taken while carrying a dedicated passenger (rider and passenger may not share riding responsibilities). Students will explore risk management and assessment strategies and practice on-cycle drills with an emphasis on cornering, braking and swerving. Total instructional time is approximately 5 hours on our practice range. Students must provide their own bike, have a valid driver's license with the motorcycle endorsement and show proof of insurance. Students must wear the following safety gear: DOT approved helmet, eye protection, long sleeve shirt or jacket, sturdy long pants (no baggies, flares, leggings, yoga or running pants), full finger gloves and over the ankle boots. All clothing must be free of holes and tears.
